To beautify/entice the contents of a bento box (lunch box), there is an infinite number of ways. Take the humble sausage, for example. A sausage is actually a gross looking thing, depending on your mind set, it looks either as a tiny cut off penis (to the sex obsessed mind) or a finger (to the hygiene obsessed mind). Neither is welcome in a pretty bento.
Five deft cuts and an adequately applied frying pan later, the ugly sausage is transformed into an octopus.
